Drinking And Dining In Barcelona

February 29th, 2008 · No Comments

One of the first things you’ll notice about the culture in Barcelona, and in Spain in general, is that time is pushed forward. In many cultures, you eat lunch between noon and 1:30; in Barcelona, you eat lunch between 3 and 4. A fairly big one, standing about as tall as the man holding it. The concept was developed by Paul Garber, a U.S. Navy Commander. Perhaps the history of stunt kites starts right here!

A common theme of unfortunate mishaps have come to the forefront having to do with our food preparation and cooking skills (or lack there of). Being the oldest and the founder of the Death Trips, I am the primary chef on these trips with my #1 backup, Drew.
